Numerical Solution of Fuzzy Fractional Differential Equation By Haar Wavelet

    Get PDF
In this paper, we deal with a wavelet operational method based on Haar wavelet to solve the fuzzy fractional differential equation in the Caputo derivative sense. To this end, we derive the Haar wavelet operational matrix of the fractional order integration. The given approach provides an efficient method to find the solution and its upper bond error. To complete the discussion, the convergence theorem is subsequently expressed in detail. So far, no paper has used the Harr wavelet method using generalized difference and fuzzy derivatives, and this is the first time we have done so. Finally, the presented examples reflect the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method

In this paper we are going to obtain fuzzy traveling wave solutions for fuzzy linear partial differential equations by considering the type of generalized Hukuhara differentiability. In particular, the fuzzy traveling wave solutions for fuzzy Advection equation, fuzzy linear Diffusion equation, fuzzy Convection-Diffusion-Reaction equation, and fuzzy Klein-Gordon equation are obtained

System of linear equations is applied for solving many problems in various areas of applied sciences. Fuzzy methods constitute an important mathematical and computational tool for modeling real-world systems with uncertainties of parameters. In this paper, we discuss about fully fuzzy linear systems in the form AX = b (FFLS). A novel method for finding the non-zero fuzzy solutions of these systems is proposed. We suppose that all elements of coefficient matrix A are positive and we employ parametric form linear system. Finally, Numerical examples are presented to illustrate this approach and its results are compared with other methods

The Best Approximation of Generalized Fuzzy Numbers Based on Scaled Metric

    Get PDF
The ongoing study has been vehemently allocated to propound an ameliorated α-weighted generalized approximation of an arbitrary fuzzy number. This method sets out to lessen the distance between the original fuzzy set and its approximation. In an effort to elaborate the study, formulas are designed for computing the ameliorated approximation by using a multitude of examples. The numerical samples will be exemplified to illuminate the improvement of the nearest triangular approximation (Abbasbandy et al., Triangular approximation of fuzzy numbers using α-weighted valuations, Soft Computing, 2019). A variety of features of the ameliorated approximation are then proved. © 2022 Tofigh Allahviranloo et al

Classical and intelligent methods in model extraction and stabilization of a dual-axis reaction wheel pendulum: A comparative study

    Get PDF
Controlling underactuated open-loop unstable systems is challenging. In this study, first, both nonlinear and linear models of a dual-axis reaction wheel pendulum (DA-RWP) are extracted by employing Lagrangian equa-tions which are based on energy methods. Then to control the system and stabilize the pendulum's angle in the upright position, fuzzy logic based controllers for both x -y directions are developed. To show the efficiency of the designed intelligent controller, comparisons are made with its classical optimal control counterparts. In our simulations, as proof of the reliability and robustness of the fuzzy controller, two scenarios including noise -disturbance-free and noisy-disturbed situations are considered. The comparisons made between the classical and fuzzy-based controllers reveal the superiority of the proposed fuzzy logic controller, in terms of time response. The simulation results of our experiments in terms of both mathematical modeling and control can be deployed as a baseline for robotics and aerospace studies as developing walking humanoid robots and satellite attitude systems, respectively. The work of U.F.-G. was supported by the government of the Basque Country for the ELKARTEK21/10 KK-2021/00014 and ELKARTEK22/85 research programs, respectively

A Fuzzy Method for Solving Fuzzy Fractional Differential Equations Based on the Generalized Fuzzy Taylor Expansion

    No full text
In this field of research, in order to solve fuzzy fractional differential equations, they are normally transformed to their corresponding crisp problems. This transformation is called the embedding method. The aim of this paper is to present a new direct method to solve the fuzzy fractional differential equations using fuzzy calculations and without this transformation. In this work, the fuzzy generalized Taylor expansion by using the sense of fuzzy Caputo fractional derivative for fuzzy-valued functions is presented. For solving fuzzy fractional differential equations, the fuzzy generalized Euler’s method is introduced and applied. In order to show the accuracy and efficiency of the presented method, the local and global truncation errors are determined. Moreover, the consistency, convergence, and stability of the generalized Euler’s method are proved in detail. Eventually, the numerical examples, especially in the switching point case, show the flexibility and the capability of the presented method
